2020 Veterans Appreciation Week Activities Scheduled in Owasso

10/29/2020 – City of Owasso Staff, along with other members of the community have come together to make sure our local Veterans are remembered during Veteran Appreciation week.

• November 9th 

  • Remembering The Fallen Biker Escort:
    • Patriot Guard Biker Escort will begin at 2:45 PM on Pine and 169, proceeding to Owasso High School

• November 11th

  • Remembering The Fallen Exhibit: 
    • Location: Owasso High School East Campus (enter north entrance by the football field)
    • Time: 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM  
  • Veterans Appreciation Rally:
    • Location: Owasso High School Football Field 
    • 6:00 PM – Military Flyover, National Anthem & Patriotic Inspiration 
    • 7:00 PM – Warrior’s Journey Presentation (Every Veteran will receive a special gift) 

• November 14th

  • Remembering The Fallen Exhibit:
    • Location: Owasso High School East Campus (enter main south entrance) 
    • Time 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM 
  • Military Vehicle Exhibit:
    • Location: Owasso High School East Campus Parking Lot  
    • Time 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM 
  • Military Uniform Exhibit:
    • Location: Owasso High School east campus (enter main south entrance) 
    • Time 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

• November 15th 

  • Remembering The Fallen Exhibit:
    • Location: Owasso High School East Campus (enter main south entrance) 
    • Time 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM

• November 9th – 13th 

  • Community Participation in Veterans Appreciation Week. The City of Owasso is proud to be called home to so many military Veterans. To honor the service and sacrifices made on our behalf, the community will recognize servicemen and women the week of Nov. 9th – 13th, by providing special offers at restaurants and other businesses.
