Judy S. Smith was born November 6, 1932, in Warren, Ohio, to Walter James and Pearl Viola (Shevel) Latimer. She died Saturday, December 28, 2013, in Owasso, Oklahoma, at the age of 81 years. Judy was reared and educated in Ohio and spent much of her working life as a banquet manager. She also spent several years working with General Motors. She was married October 11, 1974, in Girard, Ohio, to Rada Leon Smith. Judy was a fun loving person who enjoyed dancing and music, especially playing the piano and the violin. She also enjoyedshopping, traveling, and was an avid lover of chocolates. Her outgoing personality on occasion was perceived as a bit flirtatious, which she didn’t mind. Her favorite time was being a mom and grandma who dearly loved her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rada Smith, two sisters, Marian Christopherson and Martha Shilliday, and a brother, Tom Latimer.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, January 2, 2014, at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 4, 1014, at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel in Owasso with Chaplain Dean McDaniel officiating. Committal services and interment will follow at Green Acres Memorial Gardens in rural Owasso. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
