Aidan Anderson of Owasso turned 8 years old last week. What did this 8 year old want for his birthday? How about food for those in need of a helping hand.

Those that attended Aidan’s birthday party heard the request, and he collected 8 bags of groceries which he donated Thursday to Owasso Community Resources. Aidan said he wanted to help his neighbors in need because “I have so much and they have so little and I just wanted to help them.”
Aidan will be in the third grade this fall, and attends the University School at TU.
When not being a community hero, Aidan likes to ride his bike, play with his younger sister Quinnlyn and singing opera. He wouldn’t sing on camera, but did sing for us and he is great!
This is not the first time Aidan’s birthday gifts went to help others. Last year his gifts benefited St. Jude Children’s hospital.
