The Owasso Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, is proud to award to Hannah Renee Rake the DAR Good Citizen Award for 2014-2015. Hannah is a senior at Owasso High School. The program recognizes outstanding young people who exhibit the qualities of good citizenship in their homes, schools and communities.
The DAR Good Citizens program and Scholarship Contest is intended to encourage and reward the qualities of good citizenship. The program is open to all high school seniors enrolled in a public or private school accredited by their state board of education.
The student selected must have the following qualities: Dependability, Service, Leadership, and Patriotism. Each school may honor only one senior class student per year as their DAR Good Citizen. Hannah has entered her essay for the DAR Good Citizens Scholarship Contest.
