2015-2016 Pre-K and Kindergarten Enrollment

Owasso Public Schools has scheduled Pre-K and Kindergarten enrollment dates for the 2015-2016 school year.

If you have a Pre-K or a NEW Kindergarten student to enroll please do so on the following dates.

Ator – March 30 Bailey – March 31 Barnes – April 1 Hodson – April 2

Mills – April 6 Northeast – April 7 Smith – April 8 Stone Canyon – April 9

A secretary from the school will be here to answer questions. Please come on your school’s assigned day so that we can get an accurate student count. If you are unable to come on your school’s assigned day, you may come any day after that day; however, there are limited spots available for Pre-K. The Pre-K is a half day program and the times will be posted at your school. Kindergarten is a full day program.

If your child is currently in the Pre-K 4 Year Old Program with Owasso Public Schools, you will NOT need to attend the above dates as your child will be enrolled in Kindergarten automatically. You will go to your school’s Returning Student Registration in the fall.

Required Enrollment Documents:

One of the following: a signed lease, general warranty deed, property tax statement, monthly mortgage statement, or a contract to purchase without contingency.
Full page current gas, water, or electric bill that shows the service address.
Original certified birth certificate. For Pre-K, the student must be 4 years of age on or before September 1, 2015 and for Kindergarten the student must be 5 years of age on or before September 1, 2015. A copy of the birth certificate or a certificate from the hospital will not be accepted.
Complete immunization records from the health department or a doctor’s office. For Pre-K the state of Oklahoma requires 4 DTaP/, 3 Polio, 1 MMR, 1 Varicella, 2 Hep A, and 3 Hep B and for Kindergarten the state requires 5 DTap, 4 Polio, 2 MMR, 1 Varicella, 2 Hep A, and 3 Hep B.
Custody or guardianship documents (if applicable).
Parent’s drivers license
Indian tribal card and/or CDIB card (if applicable).
Enrollment forms. These will be available at the time of enrollment or you can download them for completion ahead of time at www.owasso.k12.ok.us (click on the Enrollment tab).
