Oklahoma Highway Patrol is reporting an injury collision occurred 07-17-2015 at approximately 9:57pm on 86TH Street North just west of Sheridan, approximately 1.4 miles west of Owasso, Ok in Tulsa County.
A 2002 Dodge Neon driven by Caleb Kyle Stewart age 36, of Owasso was transported by Owasso EMS to St. John Hospital in Tulsa. Stewart was admitted in stable condition with trunk and leg injuries.
A 2009 Ford pickup driven by Donald L. Fate, age 69, of Sperry, Ok. was transported by Owasso EMS to St. John Hospital in Tulsa. Fate was treated and released for trunk and internal injuries. His passenger, Geraldine M. Fate 64, of Sperry, Ok. was transported by Owasso EMS to St. John Hospital in Tulsa. She was also treated and released for trunk and internal injuries.
The report states that Stewarts vehicle was eastbound and Fates vehicle westbound on 86th Street North. Stewart for unknown reasons went left of center and struck the Fates vehicle. Stewart was pinned for approximately 5 minutes and extricated by Owasso Fire using Jaws of Life.
Seatbelts were in use by all.
