Oklahoma Highway patrol is reporting collision occurred September 25, 2015 just before 4:30pm on State Highway Twenty (SH20) just west of North-South 4120 (NS4120) near Claremore, in Rogers County.
A 2003 Harley Davidson motorcycle driven by Leon V. Whitmore 64, of Owasso was transported by Pafford Ems to St. John Hospital. He was admitted in critical condition with head and trunk internal injuries.
Whitmore’s vehicle was traveling eastbound on SH20 and crested a hill and encountered traffic that was stopped for a vehicle turning onto NS4120. To avoid striking the stopped vehicles the rider departed the roadway right coming rest in the ditch causing the rider to be separated from the bike.
