The Owasso Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution is pleased to sponsor the DAR Good Citizens program in our area. Two high schools, Owasso High School, and Rejoice Christian Schools participated this year. Each school honors an outstanding young person in the senior class who demonstrates qualities of a good citizen: Dependability, Service, Leadership and Patriotism. Each school may honor only one senior class student per year as their DAR Good Citizen. The sponsoring chapter may only have two Good Citizens to honor per school year. The Good Citizen certificates have been presented to both students.
Morghan Cyr
The Owasso High School senior chosen is Morghan Cyr, daughter of Joe Cyr, and Melinda Smith.
Morghan exemplifies the qualities of a Good Citizen and has entered her essay for the Oklahoma State DAR Good Citizen Award.
