Ted Lackman was born December 25, 1943, in Scottsbluff, Nebraska, to Alex and Molly (Kohl) Lackman. He died Friday, June 10, 2016, in Collinsville, Oklahoma, at the age of 72 years. Ted was educated in San Jose, California and graduated with the San Jose High School class of 1962. After High School he went on to earn his Associates degree in Aviation Maintenance Technology from Sacramento City College. Ted enlisted in the United States Air Force and served as an Airplane Mechanic for many years. He married Kathy Renowden on July 27, 1968, in Sacramento, California. Ted spent most of his working life as an Airplane Mechanic for American Airlines in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He attended many churches in the area throughout his life, but most recently he and Kathy enjoyed attending First Baptist Church of Collinsville. In his spare time Ted enjoyed fishing, restoring cars, woodworking, working on planes, watching and taking care of horses, driving carriages as Santa Claus in Christmas Parades, fixing anything he could find that needed to be fixed, and most of all spending time with his grandkids.

Ted was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Beverly Lackman.
Memorial Service will be held 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 14, 2016, at First Baptist Church in Collinsville with Reverend Leonard Pirtle officiating. The family requests in lieu of flowers that memorial contributions be made to veteransairlift.org. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
