Scott Smith
Scott Smith, 51, of Owasso , charged last month in connection with a fatal May 2016 crash that resulted in the death of Owasso teacher was arrested Monday, charged with first-degree manslaughter. Smith was booked into the Tulsa County Jail and subsequently released after posting $50,000 bond.
Bobbie White, an Owasso Mid-High teacher died from injuries sustained in the May 15th crash.
Owasso Police say Smith was driving with a suspended license when he hit the back of two cars that had slowed down for construction on the Bird Creek bridge.
Records indicate he has a court appearance set for September 12th.
