Katelynne “Katie” Reed, 14, of Collinsville, OK, passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at St. Louis Children’s Hospital in St. Louis, MO. Funeral services have been entrusted to Dighton-Moore Funeral Service in Owasso, OK.
Katelynne was born October 5, 2002 in Tulsa, OK to Mark and Tammy (Turner) Reed. She was a 7th grade student and her Mom Home schooled her. Katelynne was a member of Beacon Hill Baptist Church, Owasso, OK. She enjoyed keeping up with her many friends and family on Facebook and social media. She loved taking many photos and sharing them with everyone. Katelynne loved her dog Bug and all her emoji’s. She is survived by her parents, Mark and Tammy Reed of the home; two sisters, Melaney Reed and Marissa Reed of Tulsa, OK; one nephew, Isaiah Reed of Tulsa, OK; Maternal grandmother, Lynne Turner of Sand Springs, OK; Paternal grandparents, Herbert Reed of Owasso, OK, and Linda Fennell and husband Rick of Oklahoma City, OK; six aunts and uncles, Jessica Turner, Mary Johnson and husband Josh, B.J. Turner, Jack Turner and wife Missy all of Sand Springs, OK, Clinton Turner and wife Bree of Skiatook, OK, and Toni Reed of Oklahoma City, OK; nine cousins, Brooke, Parker, Jesse James, Khloe, Chance, Mason, Michael, Eva, and Foxx; and a host of friends.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Buddy Turner.
Funeral services will be 11AM Monday, January 30, 2017 at Dighton-Moore Funeral Chapel, Owasso, OK. Rev. Jack Pease will be officiating. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park, Tulsa, OK. Pallbearers will be Mark Reed, Marissa Reed, Melaney Reed, Clinton Turner, Jack Turner, and B.J. Turner.
