On Friday and Saturday, the OHS Debate team traveled to Sapulpa to compete in their annual debate tournament.
Students had eight competitors medal : Jonah Moseley, 2nd in Champs Monologue, Justine Allred and Robert Reardon, 2nd in Public Forum Debate, Doug Drosos, 2nd in Foreign Extemp, Alex Bears, who placed 2nd in Domestic Extemp and 3rd in Lincoln Douglas Debate, and Matt Garman who placed first in both Domestic Extemp and Original Oratory.
All of these competitors qualified for the Regional tournament in March. This brings their total qualifications to 15.
The team as a whole also received a 3rd place trophy for sweepstakes points at the tournament.
