04/02/2017 OWASSO, OK – Congratulations Makenzie Adams, 10th grader at Owasso High School!
Makenzie has been awarded the highest honor and prize for this year’s Annual Trash Poster Contest! First place 9th-12th grade.
Her prizes include $250 cash as well as a day spent at the capitol. The Owasso art department will receive $100 as well!
Makenzie and and art teacher Kay Bratcher will travel to the capitol on Wednesday April 12th to celebrate her accomplishments from 9:30am-2:30pm. She will be honored with recognition at the capitol by the Oklahoma House of Representatives and a Senate Award citation.
Her poster design will be featured in the 2018 Trash Poster calendar to spread awareness to keeping our land grand here in Oklahoma!
