Margaret Ann Groeneveld was born August 2, 1938, in Escanaba, Michigan, to Clarence Wilfred and Velma Gladys Pratt Trudell. She died Saturday, January 20, 2018, in Collinsville, Oklahoma, at the age of 79 years. Margaret was reared and educated in Newaygo, Michigan, and was a graduate of Newaygo High School. She was married August 6, 1959, in Newaygo to Jack Richard Groeneveld I. They had made their home in Owasso, Oklahoma, since 1981. Margaret spent most of her working life as a homemaker and caring for her family. She was a longtime faithful member of Central Baptist Church in Owasso having worked in the children’s nursery for over 20 years. She enjoyed a variety of pastimes including knitting and crocheting as well as spending time reading. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

17 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, three brothers, and three sisters.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, son, Mike Groeneveld, two brothers, and two sisters.
Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 17, 2018, at Central Baptist Church in Owasso with Pastor Kevin Laufer officiating. Final resting place will be Fort Gibson National Cemetery in Fort Gibson, Oklahoma. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
