Klayton Kirk Childress was born July 10, 1974 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Kenneth Childress and Mary Kay (Bertling) Childress. He passed from this life on Monday, August 27, 2018, in Claremore, Oklahoma, at the age of 44 years. Klayton was raised and educated in the Tulsa area and attend Sperry Public Schools. He married Sharon Lyn (Slavens) Childress in Tulsa on January 10, 1992. Klayton spent most of his working life as an appliance installer for Lowes and Sears. He enjoyed a variety of pastimes such as hunting, fishing, and making rings out of coins. He also had a great passion for metal detecting.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary.
Funeral Service will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 31, 2018 at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel in Owasso with Father Matt LaChance officiating. There will be a visitation one hour prior to the service. Graveside service will follow at St. Therese Catholic Church Cemetery in Collinsville, Oklahoma. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
