Frank D. Barrett was born September 5, 1948, in Weleetka, Oklahoma. He died Friday, April 24, 2020, in Claremore, Oklahoma, at the age of 71 years. Frank was raised and educated in Weleetka and graduated with the Weleetka High School Class of 1966. After high school he entered the United States Army, where he served his country honorably. He spent most of his working life as a dispatcher with Mill Creek Lumber in Owasso, Oklahoma for over 20 years after moving to Owasso in 1980. Frank was an avid OU Sooners fan and enjoyed a variety of past times such as coaching his daughters in basketball, and pouring a glass of Canadian Windsor bourbon and listening to the oldies.

8 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Rebekah, and brother, Robert.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday April 27, 2020 at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso. A private family graveside service will be held at Fairview Cemetery in Owasso, Oklahoma. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made in Frank’s memory to the Owasso VFW, P.O. Box 1482, Owasso, OK 74055.
