Adron Leon BaileyAdron Leon Bailey was born September 6, 1922, in Gravely, Arkansas, the youngest of 11 children, to Thomas Belson and Mirah Carrie Holley. He died Thursday, July 9, 2020, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 97 years. Adron was a veteran of the armed forces having served his country honorably with the United States Army during World War II. He spent most of his working years in construction as a painter. Adron was a member of the Tulsa Moose Lodge #862. He enjoyed spending time fishing, but mostly was a social butterfly and enjoyed hanging around his friends.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Iva M. Knoble Bailey and second wife, Lucille Neil Bailey, grandson, Mark Anthony Deramo, and 10 siblings.
Those he leaves behind include:
Daughter; Linda Deramo, of Tulsa, Oklahoma
Grandson; Danny Deramo and wife Angela, of Stroud, Oklahoma
Great grandchildren; Ikie Deramo and Tyler Deramo, both of Bartlesville, Oklahoma
Great great grandson, Ikie Deramo, Jr.
And a host of nieces and nephews.

 

Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, July 16, 2020, at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso. Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 17, 2020, at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor Leonard Pirtle officiating. Final resting place will be at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tulsa, Oklahoma. If attending the service, please follow CDC guidelines, especially the wearing of a mask. The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee, 38101, or at www.st.jude.org. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
