Sheri Lynn (Walker) Lewis was born on January 7, 1958, in Mount, Vernon, Illinois to Paul Mack Walker and Barbara (Medlin) Walker. She died on Friday, October 30, 2020 in Owasso, Oklahoma at the age of 62 years. Sheri was raised in Ardmore, Oklahoma but moved to Edmond, Oklahoma to graduate with the Edmond Memorial High School Class of 1976. She then went on to further her education and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Education from the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond in 1980. Sheri was married on March 10, 1984 at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She spent most of her working life as a social worker with DHS with the state of Oklahoma, and then started a family and worked in the home raising her children. Sheri enjoyed a variety of pastimes such as reading, working puzzles, arts and crafts, nature photography, researching family genealogy, and watching movies, but most of all she loved spending time with her family.

Visitation will be held at 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso. Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel. Interment will be held at Graceland Memorial Park Cemetery in Owasso. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made in Sheri’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105. Arrangements and service were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service.
