Vicki Renee Shaw was born May 22, 1961, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Hugh Michael and Phyllis Willetta Brown Shaw. She died Saturday, November 21, 2020, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 59 years. Vicki was reared and educated in Tulsa and graduated with the Booker T. Washington High School Class of 1979. She continued her education at Tulsa Community College where she earned her Associate degree in Early Childhood Development. She spent much of her working life as an early childhood development teacher for head start programs throughout the Tulsa metro are, including the Community Action Project and Tulsa Educare. Vicki loved tending to her roses, attending her nieces many sporting and school events, bowling, Harley Davidson motorcycles, going out with friends, and her dogs, Cooper and Toby. She was an avid fan of her Oklahoma State University Cowboys. Her true joy came from spending time with her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
​Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, November 27, 2020, at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso. Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 28, 2020, at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel with Dr. Craig Shaw officiating. Committal service and interment will follow at Graceland Memorial Park Cemetery in Owasso. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
