Glendon “Glen” Arthur Jones was born on February 22, 1933, in Grovesprings, Missouri to Gomer Glendon Jones and Dora Marie (Brownlee) Jones. He passed from this life on Friday, October 14, 2022, in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 89 years. Glen was raised and educated in Kansas City and graduated with the Argentine High School Class of 1952. After high school he enlisted and served his country honorably in the United States Navy. Glen was married on December 28, 1956, in Kansas City to Peggy Joan (Clark) Jones. He spent most of his working life as an ATE Engineer with TWA Airlines in Kansas City for 40 years. He was a longtime faithful member of Northland Baptist Church in Kansas City. In his spare time, Glen enjoyed camping, boating, traveling and he loved to tinker around especially with duct tape.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gomer and Dora, and his brother, Don.
A funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 21, 2022, at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel in Owasso. Graveside will be held 1:30 p.m. on Friday, October 21, 2022, at Fort Gibson National Cemetery in Fort Gibson, Oklahoma. Arrangements and service were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso.
