Donna Irene Phillips left this world to go be with her parents, sisters, and other loved ones on Monday, July 24, 2023.
She was born on September 19, 1950, in Tulsa, Oklahoma to William Shelly Phillips and Mervyn Maureen (Smith) Phillips. Donna was raised and educated in Tulsa, Oklahoma and graduated with the East Central High School Class of 1968. She continued her education at Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma where she graduated in 1972 with a degree in elementary education.
She spent most of her teaching career in Hominy, Oklahoma for 30 years. She taught second grade, third grade, fourth grade, fifth grade, and Special Education at Horace Mann Elementary, as well as sixth grade at Hominy Middle School.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, William and Mervyn, sister, Susan Maureen, and sister, Janet Helene Evans
She leaves behind her niece April Evans Enloe and husband Jay Enloe, as well as many beloved cousins.
A graveside service will be held 10:00 a.m. at the Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel in Tulsa on Wednesday, July 26, 2023. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
