Jeffrey “Jeff” Daniel Payne was born on July 8, 1985, in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Danny Joe Payne and Donna Sue (Payton) Payne. He passed from this life on Thursday, March 7, 2024, at his home in Claremore, Oklahoma at the age of 38 years. Jeff was raised and educated in Owasso, Oklahoma and graduated with the Owasso High School Class of 2004. He went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Jeff was married on August 8, 2008, in Owasso, Oklahoma to Allison Janice (Wellendorf) Payne. He spent most of his working life as mechanical engineer with International Bus Plant in Tulsa. In his spare time, Jeff enjoyed exploring space and star gazing, and traveling to the beach and to Colorado with his family.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, March 18, 2024. Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 19, 2024. Both will be in the Mowery Funeral service Chapel.
