Glen Urban “Tub” Sieben was born July 4, 1935, in West Township, Illinois to Clarence William Sieben and Gladys Claudine Hinkle Sieben. He died Friday, April 19, 2024, in Owasso, Oklahoma, at the age of 88 years. Glen completed his secondary education in Altamont, Illinois, and was a graduate of Altamont High School. He was a veteran of the armed forces having served his country honorably with the United States Army. Glen was married May 14, 1955, in Edgewood, Illinois, to Shirley Ann Caroline Bergman.
Glen earned his associates degree in aircraft maintenance at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He later earned his A & P certification from the Spartan School of Aeronautics in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Glen was a longtime faithful member St. Henry’s Catholic Church in Owasso, where he served with the men’s group and lay ministry. He enjoyed a variety of pastimes including time spent outdoors camping, boating, and fishing. He and Shirley loved to square dance together and were active with the Ocean Wave Square Dance Group. He dearly loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Gladys Sieben, his loving wife of 67 years, Shirley, and his brother, Mel Sieben.
Visitation will be held 2:00 p.m. – 4:00p.m., Sunday, April 28, 2024, at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso, Oklahoma. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, April 29, 2024, at St. Henry’s Catholic Church in Owasso with Father Matt LaChance officiating. Serving as casket bearers will be Jeremy Haire, Jared Sieben, Michael Haire, Jason Sieben, Chris Guilfoyle, and Brad Sieben. Glen will be laid to rest next to his wife at the Green Acres Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. The family requests memorial contributions be made in Glen’s name to the St. Henry’s Men’s Club, 8500 North Owasso Expressway, Owasso, Oklahoma, 74055. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
