Gloria Kyle Handy was born November 15, 1941, in Lindsay, California, to James Burt and Ruth Delight (Hall) Kyle. She died Tuesday, October 15, 2013, in Skiatook, Oklahoma, at the age of 71 years. Shecompleted her education in Owasso, Oklahoma, and was a graduate of Owasso High School. She was married August 13, 1982, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to David Handy. Gloria lived and raised her children in Lynnwood, Washington, where she was employed by the City of Lynnwood. She was a talented artist and enjoyed oil painting. She was also a talented musician and enjoyed singing, playing the piano and the saxophone. As a little girl, she actually sang on the radio. Gloria loved to laugh and was very funny, always wanting to make sure everyone had a good time.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Buddy Kyle.
Visitation will be held from 4-8 Tuesday, October 22, 2013, at Mowery
Funeral Service in Owasso. Graveside services will be held 11:00 Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at Osage Gardens in Skiatook, Oklahoma, with Pastor Lee Morgans officiating. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the John 3:16 Mission, Attn.; Development Department, 205 East Pine Street, Suite 103, Tulsa, Oklahoma, 74106. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
