129th Street Accident 06/20/15

Just after 8:30am Saturday morning, a single car accident occurred on northbound 129th East Avenue around the 7800 block.
Calls to 911 stated a white pick-up truck had hit a power pole, reporting the driver unconscious. When emergency crews arrived they found the power pole snapped and the power line live. The driver was safely removed and taken to an area hospital where he was treated and later released.
Crews from VVEC arrived and shut off power, but not before the truck ignited and burned.
The cause of the accident is unknown.
At the time of this report, Owasso Police still had 129th East Avenue closed to traffic.
