Albert “Bill” Ferrell was born September 20, 1928, in Rockville, Missouri, to Johnathan Ferrell and Maggie Lewellyen. He died February 16, 2015, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 86 years. Bill was married December 22, 1956, in Houston, Texas to Louise Murphy. He worked as the maintenance manager for Weiner’s clothing stores for 36 years. Bill and Louise have made Owasso their home for 20 years. Bill has been a faithful member of Owasso First United Methodist Church since moving to Owasso in 1995. He enjoyed carpentry work, yard work, and also working in his garden.
Loving family members include: His wife of 58 years: Louise, of the home Two Daughters: Debbie Ferrell, of Owasso Belinda Nelson, of Collinsville Two Grandchildren: Ryan Nelson, of Fort Bragg, North Carolina Matthew Nelson, of Fort Benning, Georgia Great Grandchild: Ty Nelson, of Fort Bragg, North Carolina He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Mary Verbanic.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, February 19, 2015, at First United Methodist church in Owasso at 11:00 AM. Services will be officiated by Pastor Chuck Horton.
