Bernard “Bernie” Wayne Thompson was born April 17, 1953, in Rantoul, Illinois, to Wayne Elmer Thompson and Constance Mae (Early) Thompson. He passed from this life Tuesday, March 19, 2019, in Owasso at the age of 65 years. Bernie was raised and educated in Duluth, Minnesota and graduated with the Denfeld High School Class of 1971. He was married on November 11, 1972 in Duluth to Vicki Joan Tapper. Bernie was a veteran of the United States Air Force where he spent most of his working life as an Avionics Technician. He enjoyed a variety of pastimes such as taking fishing trips and loving all his pets, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family.
