Beulah Clark Brightup was born February 5, 1917, in Republic, Missouri, to T F Plumlee and Lillie Logan. She died Thursday, January 2, 2014, in Chouteau, Oklahoma, at the age of 96 years. Beulah completed hersecondary education in Cassville, Missouri, graduating with the Cassville High School Class of 1934. She was married June 2, 1935, in Cassville to Pharis C. Clark. They had made their home in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, for many years where Beulah was employed with Montgomery Ward as a bookkeeper. She also had served as President of the Credit Women. Pharis preceded her in death on January 12, 1981. While in Bartlesville, she was a faithful member of Bartlesville Southern Baptist Church where she was a charter member. She later was married January 25, 1986, in Collinsville, Oklahoma, to Bob Brightup, and became an active member of Silver Creek Church of the Nazarene in Owasso. Bob preceded her in death on March 5, 1997. Beulah enjoyed a variety of pastimes including spending time with her friends, but especially her family.

Along with her husbands, she was preceded in death by a sister, Lyndell Wohlgemuth, and a brother, George Dee Plumlee.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 07, 2014, at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso. Funeral services will be held 11:00 Wednesday, January 8, 2014, at the Silver Creek Church of the Nazarene in Owasso with Pastor Dalton Young officiating. Serving as casket bearers will be Zachary Reilly, Kevin Kvittum, Damien Reilly, Brady Reilly, Nathan Smith, and Jeremy Smith. Graveside services will be held at 2:30 Wednesday at the Dewey Cemetery in Dewey, Oklahoma.
