Billy Gene Blan was born November 9, 1932, in Keota, Oklahoma, to Kenneth Clyde Blan and Eddie Bell Ingram Blan. He died Thursday, June 27, 2024, in Owasso, Oklahoma, at the age of 91 years. Bill completed his secondary education in McCurtain, Oklahoma, and was a graduate of McCurtain High School. He served his country honorably with the United States Army.
Bill was married January 19, 1958, in Amarillo, Texas, to Geneva Louise Bean. They had made their home in Owasso moving from Tulsa in 1979. Bill spent most of his working life as a fabrication specialist with Ford Glass Plant, retiring in 2004. Bill was a strong man of faith and was a longtime faithful member of Trinity Holiness Assembly of God in Owasso where he served as a deacon and in many other positions of service. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the National Rifle Association.

Karen Boardman, of Owasso, Oklahoma
And a host of beloved nieces, nephews, their families, as well as his church family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Geneva Blan, and brothers, Kenneth Blan, Joe Blan, and Pep Blan.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday, June 30, 2024, at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso. Funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 1, 2024, at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor James Brown officiating. Serving as casket bearers will be Tommy Bean, Michael Bean, Kris Goodwin, and Hunter Brown. Honorary casket bearers will be Wayne Rutherford and Justin Brown. Final resting place will be at Graceland Memorial Park Cemetery in Owasso. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
