Carol Ann Bray was born January 16, 1943, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Jaybe Leonard Reynolds and Lera Beatrice (McClain) Reynolds. She passed from this life on Wednesday, July 24, 2019, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 76 years. Carol was raised and educated in Tulsa and graduated with the Central High School Class of 1961. After high school she attended Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Biology. Carol was married on December 26, 1965 in the Sharp Chapel at the University of Tulsa to Vernon Hoyt Bray. She spent most of her working life in the home, raising her three children. She was a faithful member of the Owasso Church of Christ since moving to Owasso in 2000. She was active in the church and taught children’s bible classes and was part of the Ladies Sewing Ministry. Carol enjoyed a variety of pastimes such as painting and attending ladies bible studies, but most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Lera, and one brother, Roy.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, July 26, 2019, at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso. Funeral service will be held 9:30 a.m. Saturday, July 27, 2019, at the Owasso Church of Christ with Dan Schnell officiating.
