Carolyn Jean Clemmer was born January 21, 1949, in Alturas, California. She died June 28, 2016, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 67 years. After Carolyn completed her secondary education, she attended East Central University where she earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in nursing in 1995. She later continued her education attending the University of Oklahoma earning her Master’s Degree of Science in nursing in 2000. She was married December 14, 1982, in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, to Joe Clemmer. They made their home in Owasso, Oklahoma, since 1998. Carolyn spent most of her working life as a Registered Nurse and Family Nurse Practitioner with Valley View Hospital in Ada, Oklahoma, and St. Francis Hospital and Hillcrest Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She also provided her nursing service to correctional institutions including the David L. Moss Correctional Facility in Tulsa as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She enjoyed a variety of pastimes including knitting, painting, sewing, and crocheting. She also enjoyed spending time scrapbooking.

Seven grandchildren; Timothy Wilcott, Joshua Wilcott, Logan Dobson, Zach Dobson,
Cara Rivera, Cody Wilcott, and Jaycee Clemmer, and three great grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
