Owasso – April 15, 2014: The City of Owasso was informed today the Oklahoma Court of Civil Appeals reversed a lower court’s ruling and ordered the City of Owasso to reinstate police officer Mike Denton. Denton was fired for using excessive force during an arrest in June 2011.
“We are disappointed in today’s ruling and evaluating our options,” said Owasso City Manager Warren Lehr.
The City has no further comment at this time.
