ohp logoOklahoma Highway Patrol reports Bruce Bannon, 47, of Owasso, was driving on U.S. Highway 169 just south Nowata around 1:30 a.m. Saturday morning when his  2001 Ford Pick-up ran off the right side of the road. The pickup then swerved back onto the road and into the left lane, where it struck a 2001 Audi head-on.

Bannon was taken by ambulance to St. John Medical Center in Tulsa with head, leg and trunk injuries.

The Audi was being driven by John Watchorn 27, of Coweta. His passenger, Jamie Bowlin 27 also of Coweta was pronounced dead at the scene from massive injuries. Watchorn and a two-year-old male passenger in the car were taken by ambulance to St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, where both were treated and released.

 Oklahoma Highway Patrol says seatbelts were in use by two, but unknown about the third victim and the odor of alcohol on the driver.
