Dakota James Boggs was born October 17, 1995, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Harold and Amy Shaffer Boggs. He died Monday, November 28, 2016, in Catoosa, Oklahoma, at the age of 21 years. Dakota attended Catoosa Public Schools before moving toCollinsville, Oklahoma, and graduated with the Collinsville High School Class of 2015. While in school he enjoyed playing sports including baseball, track, basketball, and especially football. He continued his education attending his sophomore year at Tulsa Community College. He had worked several jobs throughout his life including with the City of Owasso, Harden’s Hamburgers, Reasor’s, and currently with Quick Trip as a store clerk. Dakota enjoyed the outdoors where he enjoyed hunting and riding ATV’s and motorcycles.

Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 2, 2016, at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel in Owasso. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Dakota Boggs Memorial Fund, c/o Bank of Commerce—Catoosa Branch, P.O. Box 1890, Catoosa, Oklahoma, 74015. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
