David Alan Williams was born on January 5, 1948, in Minneapolis, Minnesota to James Myron Williams and Luella Charlotte (Graves) Williams. He passed from this life on Friday, October 11, 2024, at his home in Owasso, Oklahoma at the age of 76 years. David was born and raised in Minneapolis and graduated with the North High school Class of 1966. He then enlisted in the United States Army and served his country honorably as a helicopter mechanic in Vietnam. David spent most of his working life as a machinist with Foley Manufacturing in Minneapolis. He was married on November 12, 1992, in St. Paul, Minnesota to Janet (Robbins) Williams. David had most recently been attending Friendship Baptist Church in Owasso. In his spare time, he enjoyed a variety of pastimes such as treasure hunting, panning for gold, studying history and Bible history, and spending time with his family.
