DeeAnn Gerelle Allen was born December 8, 1949, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Gerelle Jesse and Daisy Elizabeth Biggs Warlick. She died Wednesday, January 18, 2017, in Owasso, Oklahoma, at the age of 67 years. She was reared and educated in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and graduated with the Will Rogers High School Class of 1968. She continued her education attending the University of Oklahoma where she earned her associates degree. Dee spent most of her working life in the senior care industry primarily as nursing home director with Grove Nursing Home. She was married March 31, 1995, at Eureka Springs, Arkansas, to Bob Allen. She was a faithful member of Century Cathedral and then later in life at First Church in Owasso. As a young girl she was active with the Rainbow Girls and later with Eastern Star. Dee was very instrumental in organizing the Owasso/Collinsville Relay for Life. She enjoyed a variety of pastimes including flowers, painting, and going on motorcycle trips with her husband Bob. Dee was an avid Oklahoma Sooner football fan. Boomer Sooner!

Visitation will be held 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, January 23, 2017, at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso. Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 24, 2017, at First Church in Owasso with Pastor Matt Thomason officiating. Serving as casket bearers will be Chad Allen, Travis Allen, Levi Puckett, Dusty Warlick, Rodney Warlick, and Dakota Puckett. Interment will be at Graceland Memorial Park Cemetery in Owasso. The family requests memorial contributions be made to Relay for Life, P.O. Box 22478, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, 73123. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
