Donald Charles Livingston was born on September 20, 1962 in Torrance, California to Jimmy Don Livingston and Carol “Ann” (Beekly) Livingston. He passed from this life on Monday, February 11, 2019 in Owasso Oklahoma at the age of 56 years. Don was raised and educated in Torrance, California and graduated with the Cypress High School Class of 1980. He was married on September 12, 1998 in Claremore, Oklahoma to Amy Su (DeSpain) Livingston. Don spent most of his working life as a Restaurant Manager at Kirby’s Bakery & Grill, Goldies Patio Grill & then at Chilis Bar and Grill in Owasso for almost 10 years. In May 2015, he then purchased Owasso’s Giant Subs & Deli. He enjoyed a variety of pastimes such as reading, running and watching college football. He was a member of the 50 States Club, a club to run a half marathon in all 50 states, and Don had completed 17 states. His favorite college teams were the USC Trojans & Arkansas Razorbacks. He also loved rooting for Tom Brady & his New England Patriots. Traveling across the US and especially to DisneyWorld were some of his favorite memories. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jimmy and Ann.
Memorial Service will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 18, 2019 at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel in Owasso with Reverend Leonard Pirtle officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Don Livingston Memorial Fund c/o First Bank of Owasso. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
