Donna June Barnes was born February 2, 1949, in McAlester, Oklahoma, to James Thomas Keller and Marie (Rains) Keller. She passed from this life Thursday, January 11, 2018, in Claremore, Oklahoma, at the age of 68 years. Donna was raised and educated in Tulsa, Oklahoma and graduated with the Central High School Class of 1967. After high school she attended classes at Western Apostolic Bible College in Stockton, California. Donna was married June 9, 1978, in Skiatook, Oklahoma to Roy Allan Barnes. She spent much of her working life in the home raising her son, but also worked as a Teacher’s Assistant for Skiatook Public Schools. Donna attended Owasso Pentecostal Church for many years. She enjoyed a variety of pastimes such as painting and drawing, making arts and crafts, writing poetry. She was a wonderful seamstress, and enjoyed making friends and family laugh while performing comical skits and plays.

She was preceded in death by father, James Keller.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, January 15, 2018, at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso, Oklahoma. Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor Shane Cheek officiating. Interment will follow at Graceland Memorial Park Cemetery in Owasso, Oklahoma. Arrangements were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso, Oklahoma.
