Eleanor was born in Jasper, Arkansas, to Ford and Imogene McFerrin on December 25, 1938. She attending Central High School in Tulsa and graduated in 1956. Eleanor worked at Nordam as an executive secretary.

Son: Buddy Cagle, Jr., and wife Shirley of Ramona, Oklahoma
Daughter: Tammy Garcia and husband Nick of Denver, Colorado
Grandchildren: Shawna Potter and husband James; Clinton Douthit and wife Nicole of Seattle, Washington; William Douthit and wife Laura of Lone Tree, Colorado; Kurtis Cagle of Houston, Texas; Bradley Cagle of Houston, Texas; Amy Montgomery and husband John of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; Amber Cagle of Ramona, Oklahoma; Elizabeth Garcia of Denver, Colorado; Nick Garcia of Denver, Colorado; Becky Goodgain and husband Courtney of Aurora, Colorado; and Paula Mora, Richie Mora, Kevin Baughman, Brandon Baughman of Denver, Colorado. Eleanor also had 18 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Leanna Cagle and son Spencer Cagle.
A memorial service in her honor will be held at Freedom Baptist Church, 9502 North 177th East Avenue, Owasso, at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 26, 2016. The family will greet family and friends at 9:00 a.m. prior to the service.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Leukemia Society, donate.lls.org. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
