Freddie J. AragonAlfredo “Freddie” James Aragon was born September 17, 1959, in Los Angeles, California, to Afredo Horceo Aragon and Gloria T. (Vela) Aragon. He passed from this life on Wednesday, April 17, 2019, in Owasso, Oklahoma, at the age of 59 years. Freddie was raised and educated in Rocky Ford, Colorado and graduated with the Rocky Ford High School Class of 1977. After high school he studied Animal Science at Ames Community College in Greely, Colorado and then transferred to Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado. He later earned his Associates Degree in Science at Tulsa Community College in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Freddie was married May 17, 1999, in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Susan D. (Maupin) Aragon. He spent most of his working in various departments with Cox Communications for over 30 years. Freddie attended St. Pius X Catholic Church in Tulsa. He was also a member of the Rocky Ford Elks Lodge #1147 and on the Arkansas Valley Fair Committee. He had a variety of past times such as hunting, fishing, golfing, and watching his beloved Denver Broncos.

Roger Maupin and wife Linda, of Owasso, Oklahoma
Brian Maupin and wife Holli, of Hiawatha, Kansas
And a host of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfredo and Gloria.
 
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 22, 2019, and Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 22, 2019, both at St. Pius X Catholic Church in Tulsa with father Richard Bradley officiating. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made in Freddie’s memory to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Oklahoma, 1401 South Boulder Avenue #300, Tulsa, Oklahoma 74119. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
