The Friends of the Owasso Police Department Foundation needs your help!
The Owasso Police Department recently had the opportunity to purchase another K9 officer, Monson. Obtaining Monson will allow a K9 officer to be on each of the four shifts. The Friends of Owasso Police Foundation had enough funds from previous donations to purchase the dog, but need to raise additional funds for related expenses such as housing, vehicle adjustments, food, vet expenses etc.
The 2016 police department budget does not have an allowance for these expenses and could use the help of the community. The Friends of Owasso Police Foundation would like to obtain the balance of the funds needed by June 30th, 2016. Having a K9 on each shift will greatly increase not only officer safety but will allow the department to do more proactive policing. Friends of Owasso Police hope that you can help support the Owasso Police Department by donating to help us obtain this goal!
