Georgia Fay Baskett was born on February 22, 1941, in Catoosa, Oklahoma to Homer Gerald “Pete” Cagle, Jr. and Maxine (Dixon) Cagle. She passed from this life on Monday, March 31, 2025, in Owasso, Oklahoma at the age of 84 years. Georgia was married in 1988 in Las Vegas, Nevada to Jackie Leroy Baskett. She spent most of her working life as a seamstress and home builder. In her spare time, Georgia enjoyed a variety of past times such as playing corn hole at the Owasso Community Center, singing karaoke, playing horseshoes and going bowling, but most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren to whom she was affectionately known as “Memee.”
