By the time he was 21, Dustin Kiley Mitchell, owner of Half Moon Plumbing, had already achieved both a contractor and a master plumbing license in two states, both Oklahoma and Arkansas. Plumbing is not just something he fell into; it was his professional career choice even before graduating high school. A second generation plumber, he has been installing and managing plumbing projects for 17 years.

“Since the founding of Half Moon in 2007, we have been extremely successful in both the commercial and residential fields,” he says. “Commercially, we have completed projects such as Olive Garden, Drug USA, Genghis Grill, DaVita Dialysis Centers and Harps Food Grocery Store just to name a few. However, as we have grown, we have truly found our calling, serving our friends and neighbors locally in Green Country on a residential level.”

Since service has become our focus, we have gathered an impressive collection of heartwarming reviews by customers who have, in turn, been converted into fans, Mitchell says. Those reviews are available on Google and Angie’s list.
“My wife and I actually moved to Owasso in 2007 for a couple of reasons, of which plumbing was only one,” Mitchell says. “We were also part of a launch team for Lifepoint Baptist Church where I currently serve as the worship leader and teen youth leader. Our goal is to serve Tulsa and Rogers County citizens first, and we are now able to do that more effectively since the hiring of our new plumbing technician, Cory Ogden, a Claremore resident.”

That means that as Half Moon is celebrating five years in business, they are now able to service double the plumbing trouble.

The heart of Half Moon Plumbing is summed up in its mission statement: to provide plumbing excellence through manners, methods and materials. “We are polite, thorough and empathetic, and we understand that plumbing problems are rarely convenient,” Mitchell says. “That’s why one of our core values is ‘to be a blessing and not a burden to our customers…’ We truly believe in ‘plumbing with a purpose.’”
Half Moon’s trucks are a further testament of its commitment to image and performance. “Most plumbing companies just have small service vans, which are not able to carry the large volume of materials and tools that our trucks provide,” he says. “This allows us to be much more effective and efficient with both our time and yours!”
