hard rockHard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa is wrapping up a year’s worth of gaming and hospitality expansion. The resort destination is now the largest hotel in northeast Oklahoma after the completion of a 10-story tower. on’s premier gaming and entertainment destination, bringing the total room count to 454 rooms and suites.

Bill John Baker, Principal Chief of the Cherokee Nation, along with Jon Davidson with the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa will provide a tour of the new space on Tuesday, March 19 2013 from 1-2pm.

The hotel’s completion ends a $52 million expansion project that includes the new two-story, non-smoking gaming and hospitality experience, with 500 additional electronic games, 15 more table games, a poker room, a media bar and a food court.

The new construction replaces an area that was lost in the record-breaking February 2011 blizzard.

The recent expansion brings the resort’s employment to more than 1,500 people.
