Harry L. Moore, resident of Owasso, passed from this life on Wednesday evening, June 22, 2016 at his home. He was 81 years of age. Harry was born in Kansas City, Missouri to Earl and Catherine Moore on October 15, 1934.. After graduating high school, he attended the University of Arkansas where he received his degree in accounting. On November 27, 1957, Harry and Barbara Brown were united in marriage in Joplin, MO. Harry was a veteran of the United States Army and worked as an accountant for Tulsa Regional Medical Center in Tulsa until retirement. In his spare time, Harry enjoyed making stained glass and collecting coins and clocks.
Those that survive include his wife Barbara; two children Steve Moore and wife Vana; and Susan Brown; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Harry was preceded in death by his parents, an infant son Brian, a son Gregg and his sister Mary Moore Ritter.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, July 2, 2016 in the Memorial Park Cemetery, Tulsa. Arrangements have been entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso. www.moweryfs.com
