Hazel Marvel Shell was born April 7, 1924, in Collinsville, Oklahoma, to John and Minnie Cumley Pavey. She died Monday, June 24, 2019, in Owasso, Oklahoma, at the age of 95 years. Hazel was reared and educated in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and graduated with the Tulsa Central High School Class of 1941. She spent most of her working life in the banking industry as the head teller with National Bank of Commerce in Tulsa. She enjoyed a variety of pastimes, especially shopping on the QVC Channel.

Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 29, 2019, at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel in Owasso with Pastor Paul Purifoy officiating. Committal service and interment will follow at Ridgelawn Cemetery in Collinsville, Oklahoma. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
