10/02/2018 – The IPAWS National Test of the Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA) and Emergency Alert System (EAS) will be held Thursday, October 3, 2018, beginning at 1:18 p.m. CST.
Around 1:20PM CDT, FEMA will issue a nationwide test of the Emergency Alert System (EAS) and Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA). The test message will be sent to all radio, TV, and compatible cell phones. Be aware that your phone may alert you around this time!
