In the early morning hours of Friday, February 6th, 2015 Owasso Police Patrol Officers, attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a motorcycle observed speeding in the area of 76th St and US169.
The operator of the motorcycle failed to yield, increased his speed and a vehicle pursuit ensued. The motorcycle led officers through Owasso and eventually southbound on US169 and into Tulsa. The pursuit ended near I-244 at the LL Tisdale Expressway Entrance due to the motorcycle running out of fuel.
The suspect, 20 year old Taylor Don Ramhorst of Tulsa, was taken into custody. Ramhorst was booked into the Tulsa County Jail and faces charges of Attempting to Elude Police, related traffic charges, Possession of Methamphetamine and Marijuana, and Carrying a Concealed Weapon.
