Around 10:15 PM on Saturday, April 20th, Owasso Police were dispatched to a residence in the area of 86th Street North and 121st East Avenue, where a man kicked in the front door of a home.
The ex-boyfriend of the resident, Cameron Rawson, 21 of Haskell, showed up at her home intoxicated. Rawson stated he was trying to get his property back from his ex-girlfriend. The victim told the suspect to leave the residence and come back the next day to get his property. The victim then shut and locked the front door.
Rawson told the victim that he would kick in the door if she did not let him in. The victim would not open the door, and Rawson kicked the door in, entered the residence without permission and took his property before fleeing on foot.
Owasso officers began to drive the immediate area to look for Rawson. A man, matching the clothing and physical description given by the victim, was located behind a business, not far from the residence. The man was carrying a TV, which was taken from the residence. Rawson followed commands and was taken into custody.
Rawson is in the Tulsa County Jail, booked on the following charges:
