Jacob Alan Kannady was born January 15, 1987, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to David Alan and Connie J. (Cowdrey) Kannady. He left this world on Saturday, March 12, 2016, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 29 years. Jacob was reared and educated in Owasso, Oklahoma, and graduated with the Owasso High School Class of 2005. At a young age he was active with 4-H and continued to be involved with the Owasso FFA and was active raising and showing Duroc pigs. He spent most of his working life as a mechanic with Melton Dodge in Claremore, Oklahoma. He also was working as an electrician’s apprentice. Jake loved being outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing, shooting guns, and riding four-wheelers.

He was preceded in death by grandparents, Leon and Marjorie Geren, and his father, David Alan Kannady.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, March 17, 2016, at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso. Funeral service will be held 1:00 pm. Friday, March 18, 2016, at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel in Owasso. Serving as casket bearers will be Cody Hurst, Jason Lower, Eric Ree, Sean McClure and Jacob Yarbrough. Committal services and interment will follow at Graceland Memorial Park Cemetery in Owasso. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service.
